A quick and flavorful sardine spread made with cream cheese, fresh herbs, and a touch of lemon juice. Perfect for spreading on toast, crackers, or serving as an easy appetizer.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 can sardines in oil (7–8 sardines, well drained)
  • 120 g cream cheese about ½ cup
  • 1- 2 green onions finely chopped
  • 1 small bunch fresh parsley , finely chopped
  • a few drops of lemon juice to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, mash the sardines with a fork until finely broken down.
  • Add the cream cheese and mix until smooth.
  • Stir in the chopped green onions and parsley.
  • Add a few drops of lemon juice to taste, adjusting for acidity.
  • Serve on toast, crackers, or alongside fresh vegetables.
