Minatamis Na Saging

Minatamis na Saging Saba, or sweetened banana, is a delicious Filipino dessert that is very easy to make and the loved by the entire family.

The Philippines stands as one of the world’s top banana exporters, offering a wide array of banana varieties. While each boasts its distinct characteristics, it’s the Saba or burro bananas that take the spotlight when making this delicious treat. To get the best results, the chosen bananas should be perfectly ripe, yet still firm.

Since it only takes 3-4 ingredients to prepare this dish, why not give it a try? It’s so good that you may want to have it all to yourself, but it’s best enjoyed together with your loved ones.

It pairs wonderfully with milk and shaved ice, and it’s a fantastic addition to another beloved Filipino dessert: halo-halo.

Enjoy!
