3 teacups ricewashed and drained

1 cup (tea) raisinsseedless black raisins

1/2 cup (tea) yellow raisinsseedless

1/2 cup (tea) cashewchopped

2 garlic cloves crushed

salt to taste

1 cup (tea) Brazil nutschopped
Directions
How to Make Arroz Natalino:
- Heat a pan with half the butter and oil over a medium heat and fry the garlic until golden.
- Add the rice and sauté for 3 minutes.
- Add the water and salt and cook with the pan half covered until the water has almost evaporated.
- Lower the heat, cover the pan, and cook until the water is completely dry and the rice is tender.
- Take off the heat, transfer to a platter, and set aside.
- Heat another pan with the remaining butter and oil over a medium heat and sauté the onion, raisins, and chestnuts for 3 minutes.
- Spread over the rice on the platter, decorate with carambola and nuts and serve.
