Beer-Battered Fish With Tartar Sauce

Whether enjoyed as a casual lunch or a main course at dinner, beer-battered fish with French fries and tartar sauce is a timeless classic that appeals to seafood lovers and those seeking a flavorful, crispy, and satisfying meal.

Instructions:

Beer-Battered Fish

  1. To make the batter, gradually pour the beer and 3/4 of the flour into a bowl, stirring with a spoon until you have a smooth, lump-free batter. You can also add some salt to the batter – skip this if you are on a low-sodium diet.
  2. Check the fish fillets for any remaining bones. Check out this guide on removing pin bones from fish for more information.
  3. Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper and dredge them in the remaining flour.
  4. Dip the fish fillets into the batter.
