Gavurdagi salad is a smaller chopped version of the ingredients in shepherd's salad. The dressing also differs thanks to pomegranate syrup and dried mint. Add sumac and walnuts to these ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large tomatoes
  • ½ large red onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 50 walnuts
  • 4 springs of parsley
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses
  • ½ tsp sumac
  • ¼ tsp dried mint

Instructions
 

How to make Gavurdagi Salad

  • Finely dice the tomatoes, red onion, green pepper, and cucumber, finely chop the parsley, and coarsely chop the walnuts. 
  • Transfer all the ingredients to a large bowl and toss them well.
  • Add olive oil, pomegranate molasses, sumac, dried mint, and salt and mix well.
  • Transfer to a serving plate and serve with chopped walnuts on top.
