Ingredients
 
 

Chicken Wings

  • 8 chicken wings
  • 160 ml dark beer
  • 10 g honey
  • salt and pepper

Mashed Potatoes

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 ml milk

Spicy Tomato Sauce

  • 20 g sautéed onions
  • 100 g canned tomatoes
  • 15 g brown sugar
  • 10 ml apple vinegar
  • 2 g peperoncini or chili flakes
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 5 peppercorns

Instructions
 

Chicken Wings

  • Clean the wings if necessary and remove the tips. Season with salt and pepper and place them on a baking tray. Coat with the honey and dark beer.
  • Cover the tray with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes at 180°C (356° F). Remove the foil and cook for 5 more minutes.

Mashed Potatoes

  • Boil the potatoes, drain, and mash them.
  • Add the butter and milk and whisk until they reach the desired consistency.

Tomato Sauce

  • Place the tomatoes in a blender. Cook the brown sugar and the other ingredients in a non-stick pan. When they start to brown, add the apple vinegar.
  • Add the tomatoes, stir everything together and let the sauce cook until it reaches the right consistency.
