Ingredients

For the dip:

  • 250 g boiled and shredded chicken
  • 50 g mozzarella grated
  • 70 g cheddar grated
  • 120 ml ranch sauce
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 240 ml ketchup
  • salt
  • pepper

For the dough:

  • 1 ready-made pizza dough 400 g (~1 lb)
  • 150 g cheddar cheese cut into cubes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200° C/319° F.

For the dip:

  • Place the chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, ranch sauce, cream cheese, and ketchup into a bowl. Season with salt and pepper, then mix thoroughly with your hands -wearing disposable gloves - until the mixture is well combined.

For the dough:

  • Roll out the pizza dough out on a floured board using a rolling pin. Cut out the eyes, nose, and mouth of the monster with a knife.
  • Transfer the cut pieces to a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then set aside for final assembly.

For the assembly:

  • Cut the remaining dough into 16 equal pieces and shape them into small balls.
  • Place a cube of cheddar in the center of each dough ball and close it up.
  • Arrange the dough balls around the edge of a large ovenproof skillet, leaving a space in the middle.
  • Spread the dip mixture in the empty space in the center of the skillet.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the dough is golden and the dip is heated through.
  • Remove the skillet from the oven, place the dough pieces for the eyes, nose, and mouth to create the monster, and serve hot.

Notes

Chef’s tip: We can substitute the cream cheese with yogurt.
