French Bread Pizza (Baguette Pizza)

This French bread pizza recipe is the quickest and most convenient way to satisfy your craving for delicious pizza at home without the hassle of making pizza dough.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 baguettes
  • 6 tbsp basil pesto
  • 6 tbsp tomato sauce
  • pitted black olives sliced
  • pepperoni slices
  • mozzarella cheese grated
  • 7 plum tomatoes halved
  • fresh basil leaves

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 185° C/365° F.
  • Cut one of the baguettes in half. Spread 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce on one half of the baguette and 3 tablespoons of basil pesto on the other.

  • Top each half with pepperoni slices, grated mozzarella, sliced black olives, and finally top with a few tomato halves. Over that, place some basil leaves and feel free to sprinkle on dried oregano, crushed black pepper, and/or other spices, as you like.

  • Repeat the process with the second baguette.
  • Place the pizza baguettes on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese has melted and browned and the tomatoes have softened.

  • Take the pizza baguettes out of the oven. You can top them with more basil leaves if you like and serve immediately.
