Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 3 tbs cacao powder unsweetened
  • 1 tsp butter
  • chocolate sprinkles or dried coconut flakes

Instructions

  • Grease a plate with butter and set aside.
  • Put the condensed milk, cocoa powder (sifted if you want) and butter in a small pot.
  • Cook it over a slow heat about 10-12 minutes, constantly mixing with a wooden spoon or spatula, until it almost sticks to the bottom of the pot. Once you can run your spoon or spatula through the middle of the mixture without it running back together for 2-3 seconds, it is done.
  • Turn the heat off and pour it over the lightly greased plate.
  • Let it cool in the fridge for an hour.
  • Then, grease your hands with butter and mold the brigadeiro in little balls, taking small portions of the chocolate mix with a small spoon.
  • Cover it with chocolate sprinkles and then put it in little paper molds or on a platter lined with wax paper.
