Ingredients

100 g (3.5 oz) dried pears

100 g (3.5 oz) dried apples

60 g (2 oz) prunes

60 g (2 oz) raisins

60 g (2 oz) dried sour cherries

½ lemon
-
1 t cinnamon

4 clove buds

pinch nutmeg

4 l Water

to taste honey
Directions
How to Make Uzvar:
- Put the honey in a pan. Pour water over it and bring to a boil.
- Add the dried pears, 5 minutes later add the apples, 5 minutes later add the prunes and dried sour cherries, 5 minutes later add the raisins.
- Cook over a low heat.
- When all dried fruit become soft, add cinnamon and cloves. Let steep for a while.
- Squeeze the lemon juice and add it to the pot with the lemon.
- Turn off the heat and let it infuse for an hour or two.
