Vinehret is a healthy and vitamin-rich Ukrainian salad, perfect for fasting. It is very delicious and easy to prepare! If you love beets, you’re going to love this easy and delicious salad

How to Make Beet Salad (Vinehret):

  1. Boil beets, potatoes, and carrots with skin on. (Note: I peel mine before I boil them)
  2. Once cooked and peeled, cut into small pieces.
  3. Chop pickles and green onion. Add to the beet mixture along with the can of rinsed kidney beans.
  4. Add warmed oil, salt and pepper. Add vinegar and sugar to taste.  Enjoy this salad as a side dish with meat or by itself with some crusty bread!
