Sugar syrup is to the bar what stocks are to the kitchen. Simple to make and an indispensable staple item to have on hand.
- Place 1 cup of sugar in a saucepan.
- Add 1 cup of water and stir.
- Place on high heat and stir until boiling.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer until all the sugar has dissolved.
- Allow to cool before storing.
- Store in an air tight container in the fridge.
