500 grams green beans
4 tablespoons Onionfinely chopped
Salt and pepper
- Cut the ends of the green beans off and boil in water with salt for approximately 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the flour with enough water to create a batter.
- Afterwards, add the egg and the onion, and season with salt and pepper.
- Dip the bean pods, two at a time, in the batter and fry in hot vegetable oil, until they become golden in colour.
- Dab any extra oil on absorbent paper.
