Stratford Chefs School - Kitchens
Stratford Chefs School – Kitchens has been in operation since 1983 and provides numerous cooking and baking lessons in a hands-on environment designed to encourage its students to experiment with different techniques. The school is taught by expert instructors and occasionally by guest chefs from various local restaurants. Students can choose from two diploma options for their studies. The first is the 16-Week Diploma which is designed for beginners and teaches courses such as French and Italian Culinary Traditions, Nutrition, and Food History. The 32-Week Diploma is ideal for those with prior experience in the culinary arts and works to ensure students are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed. The diploma will also give student chefs the chance to become an apprentice and learn important tricks of the trade in a real-world setting. The programs run at various times throughout the year with sessions beginning in the summer and fall. Stratford Chefs School – Kitchens costs around $7,000 per year and financial aid is available.
