Rooted Nutrition is located in Vancouver and was founded by Andrea Potter as a way to encourage people to make healthy choices when they eat. This school hosts many classes that will show you how to create meals that are gluten-free and vegan. Some items you’ll learn how to make include soups, seasonal vegetable dishes, nut-based cheese, and sheet-pan meals. Each class is led by either Potter or guest chef Ellexis Boyle and will show students basic kitchen skills as well as a few unique ones. In addition to this, the courses will give you helpful nutrition tips to keep in mind for future meals. Besides public classes, Rooted Nutrition also has In-Home Holistic Coaching. This option will have Potter or Boyle design a meal for up to three people in your own kitchen. Students can customize the menu for this cooking course and should be prepared to pay around $300 per class.
