Pastry Training Centre of Vancouver
Founded in 2009 by Marco Röpke, the Pastry Training Centre of Vancouver provides students with the opportunity to earn a diploma or certificate in artisan bread baking, chocolate, pastry training, and cake decorating. There is also a Full Time Grand Diploma Program which is one of the highest diplomas offered at this culinary school by joining all the diplomas and certificates together into one. Courses will touch on topics like the history of food, how to work with rye dough, making marzipan, canning, and creating the perfect puff pastries. Classes at the Pastry Training Centre of Vancouver are usually held every other day for a few hours. Despite having a large number of students enrolled, this school makes sure that classes are small so each pupil receives an adequate amount of attention from the instructor. Tuition for the programs costs around $2,000 and includes items such as uniforms, ingredients, and kitchen utensils.
