Northwest Culinary Academy Of Vancouver
Nestled in the northern portion of Vancouver lies the Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver. The academy is owned by multiple chefs who each add their own unique touch to how the culinary arts are taught here. Many renowned chefs, such as Taryn Wa and Adam Chandler, have learned skills at the academy and have gone on to open their own restaurants throughout the world. The Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver offers basic courses for cooking enthusiasts and diploma programs for professionals. The professional offerings require students to study culinary or pastry arts for up to 15 weeks each and will inform future chefs about wine pairings, plant-based cuisine, grains and starches, and butter making. Students will also dive into topics such as food photography and menu design. Potential attendees should look closely at the prices of the programs as they vary depending on whether you are a Canadian, American, or international student. However, the average cost is around $13,000.
