Liaison College
This culinary arts branch of Liaison College resides in the historic district of Concord. The college offers culinary students the chance to learn important kitchen skills while testing their knowledge in a state-of-the-art environment. Some programs offered at Liaison College include Cook Basic, Specialist Chef, Culinary Management, and Chef De Cuisine. The classes are somewhat small (only 18 students are allowed) and will teach students things such as kitchen sanitation, bake theory, basic nutrition, and menu planning. For chefs already in the business, Liaison College has a Red Seal Examination program that allows you to earn this distinguished title. Professional chefs will guide each class and carefully instruct students on kitchen techniques. Liaison College will help students with finding potential jobs in the industry and sometimes offers apprenticeships at local restaurants and bakeries. The courses at the college require students to spend anywhere from 100-600 hours studying and cost around $7,245 per diploma.
