Le Dolci is a chic bakery known throughout Toronto for its scrumptious cupcakes and fresh macarons, most of which are made with gluten-free and vegan ingredients. This bakery has a spacious classroom where students can gather to learn tricks of the trade, like how to use the correct frosting tips and how to paint edible colors on baked items. In addition to this, students will learn how to prepare dough for flaky croissants, how to safely fry donuts, and the right methods to use to bake somewhat difficult cookies, like madeleines. Le Dolci hosts over 20 classes throughout the year, including a few summer camps for kids and evening boot camps for busy adults. These courses are held mainly on the weekends and occur at different times during the day. Costs for these classes are about $105 and students can sign up to reserve a spot for one on the bakery’s website.
