HAVE Culinary Training Society
HAVE Culinary Training Society was created to help those who might have difficulties finding a job in the culinary field succeed. This training society caters to both youth and adults who might be impoverished, homeless, or have physical disabilities. HAVE Culinary Training Society offers two programs for students to sign up for. The first is the Eight-Week Culinary Training Program that teaches food safety and how to serve meals. Students will also learn how to prep and prepare food, measure ingredients, and clean workstations. The other option is the ITA Professional Cook 1 Program which can be completed by students once they graduate from the Eight-Week Culinary Training Program. The ITA Professional Cook 1 Program lasts 28 weeks and guides students toward earning their Red Seal certification. All students will work to prepare meals for the society’s public cafe. The eight-week program at this culinary school is free while the ITA Professional Cook 1 Program costs $3,300.
