From the Farm Cooking School
Located in the quaint village of Ameliasburg, From the Farm Cooking School resides within an 1830s farmhouse providing chefs with a cozy atmosphere as they learn how to make pasta and dumplings, add spices to meals, and create tapas. From the Farm Cooking School also offers an All-Day Culinary Adventure class where students will arrive at the farmhouse and then be driven to local farms and markets to pick up food to make dishes with. In addition to this, students can choose to pick a specific culinary theme to learn, such as mastering recipes by Julia Child or discovering the secrets behind Vietnamese street food. Besides learning important cooking techniques, students will also learn about the history of each meal and how certain ingredients were thrown together to create it. Private classes are available for groups of up to ten people and meals can be created around dietary restrictions. Costs for each cooking class is around $150 per person.
