The award-winning Edinburgh New Town Cookery School has been teaching classic and creative cookery in a professional but informal atmosphere, since 2009.
The diverse range of courses offer something for every level of ability, from chefs to homemakers and students to food enthusiasts. For those wishing to pursue a career in the food industry, the school offers formal training with either a Beginner’s or an Intermediate’s Certificate Course of 3 months, or a Practical Cookery Diploma of 6 months combining the former two.
Cooking amateurs and enthusiast can find a truly broad offer of courses, not only according to the approached themes, but also the duration and received training: from 2 hour long evening courses and half-day workshops, over 3 day essentials, up to one- or two-week courses, there really isn’t any demand than cannot be accommodated.
