Dish Cooking Studio
Dish Cooking Studio was established to inspire those interested in learning how to cook while also challenging seasoned chefs. The cooking studio is run by a handful of different teachers who each add their own mark to the classes. For instance, head chef Erin Ross will take students around the world in their meals and teaches about some of the best beers, bourbons, and wines to go with them. There are plenty of cooking classes to choose from that include discovering how to make ramen from scratch, making tacos and pairing them with tequila, knife skills, BBQ tips, and learning the best way to make soups and stocks. Classes are broken up into three different formats. The first is the “Hands-On” option which lasts about three hours and breaks students up into groups to make a specific part of the menu. The second option is “Own the Kitchen” which also lasts three hours and allows students to master kitchen skills on their own. The last choice is “Skills” which focuses on one specific kitchen technique and teaches students how to do it until they master it. Prices for the courses are about $115-$145 per person.
