Ashburton Cookery School & Chefs Academy
Ashburton is a family business that was established in 1992 and has been running cookery courses for the last 10 years. They are rated as one of the most successful cookery schools in the country, welcoming over 5000 students a year. They offer over 40 scheduled cookery courses from half-day courses and weekend breaks to professional culinary qualifications.
The unique range of cookery courses with defined skill levels have been designed to be as accessible and practical as possible for preparation at home, whether by someone new to cookery, an enthusiastic home cook or a professional chef. The average class size is 10 students, working in groups whilst also receiving plenty of individual attention.
The Chefs’ Academy, on the other hand, offers full-time, intensive training and incorporate accredited, internationally recognized chef qualifications that are valued by employers around the world. Students can learn to cook to a professional standard on a 4-week Certificate in Culinary Arts or become a fully qualified Chef in 16 weeks on the full-time, intensive Diploma in Culinary Arts, or even specialize as a Pastry Chef on the Diploma in Patisserie.
